Setting up the SocialGift takes just a few easy steps
The total price including tax and shipping is calculated after the customer enters in their postal code. They then enter the gift recipient and a message to share with everyone for the event page.
There is also a FAQ and a quick tour video that will guide the event creator through the entire process.

Invite your friends to chip-in using facebook or plain old email
This is the social layer of what makes SocialGIft tick. We’ve made the process of inviting friends and family fun and engaging. Once you start typing the name of a friend from your Facebook list, their name and photo will populate the entry field automatically. Users who prefer not to sign in through Facebook can still use e-mail for the entire process.
Invitees will get a direct message request to contribute either a pre-selected or arbitrary amount.

The event page is where all the action takes place. It’s where you can track the progress of the funds raised, invite more people to contribute or message other contributors.

The gift is shipped automatically once the total cost is raised
Once the funds have been raised the gift is shipped from the merchant. In the event that the gift is under funded, the merchant will simply issue a gift card for the amount raised by the group. A greeting card will be issued the lucky recipient as well as Facebook Wall posts about the event.
